Find a Question:
Two men in the dock on rape charges
Nov

2013
TWO men have been charged with allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl.
They were arrested after one of them told his girlfriend about the incident, who in turn informed police, according to Public Prosecution documents.
The Bahraini victim told prosecutors she visited her boyfriend’s apartment in Isa Town last month, where they had sex but was then raped by his friends.
“I went to a dental clinic with my mother, where I met him (boyfriend),” she said in her statement to prosecutors.
“He flirted with me and I managed to get his number without my mother noticing.
“We then became lovers. He would pick me up every day from school after my mother drops me off.
“We would go to an apartment he rented, where we have sex before he returned me to school just before my mother reaches.
“Once, we were at the apartment and had sex, but he left and made his friends rape me. I could not do anything”.
Both Bahrainis were remanded in custody for 45 days yesterday.
The girl’s boyfriend, who works in the BDF, is understood to be standing trial in the Military Court on the same charges.

the only reason why RAPE, ASSAULTS & MOLESTION in this country is so common is because they know there is no law as such…it’s few months or a year and then its back to normal life again.
child rape, assaults and molestions at schools, homes, cold stores and wherever in Bahrain are mostlt done by expatriates,,,INDIANS, PAKISTANIS & BENAGALIS. they serve a short sentence and then deported to their countries to live a normal happy life!! why? they should be beheaded!!! if it’s about human rights then where is the right of the VICTIM who’s suffered PHYSICALY & will suffer MORALY n PSHYCOLOGICALY all her/his life.
what is the punishment for the RAPE,ASSAULT & MOLESTION in ISLAM….why don’t we follow that????
GDN is full of these stories in details, every single day, and yet our law is so handicapped and playful. even in western world they have harsh law for these crimes, except BAHRAIN…
