Hawar Telecommunications’ individual licence for international telecommunications services has been revoked with effect from February 12, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) announced yesterday.

In a statement, the regulator said the revocation follows a notice published on December 25 in the official gazette and on the TRA website.

The regulator said it has not received any comments or responses to its notice.

Accordingly, pursuant to Articles 31 and 34 of the Telecommunications Law, the licence awarded to Hawar Telecommunications stands revoked, the TRA said.
