MMUP states undertaking cleaning and removal of rain-water

Ministry of Municipalities and Urban Planning (MMUP) asserted that it was proceeding in removing the rain-water in all parts of Bahrain in coordination wih the relevant ministries and Municipal Councils.
In a statement for the ministry, it highlighted that cleaning and removal of accumulated debries and sand in roads are being carried out, where the ministry’s inspectors and workers are working round the clock, for three shift perday.

In this regard, the ministry announced removing more than 30 million gallons of rain-water till now, stating that it had formed teamworks in the various five municipalities in coordination with the municipal councils, and Ministry of Works to remove rain-water particularly in the residential areas.

The ministry had also called on the kind pubic to report any emergency regarding rain-water through the Hotline of each municipality, in addition to keeping in contact with the municipal councils in this regard.
