Farmers Market is back again

THE second edition of the Farmers Market started yesterday at the Budaiya Garden.

Municipality and Urban Planning Affairs Ministry agriculture and marine resources section organised the event following directives from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty King Hamad, and Supreme Council for Women president.

The farmers market was set up to bolster the Bahrain’s agricultural development and help farmers sell their produce. More than 30 Bahraini farmers displayed local products at the event, which will be held on Saturdays until the end of May. It will start at 8am until noon.
