Driving in Bahrain

When i first arrived in Bahrain and i was driven in the car from the airport to Manama i remember vividly that it felt like i was in one of my little brothers car video games, where he would speed down the streets and cars would jump out here and there and he would have to dodge them.

Years later i don’t feel it so much because i have learn’t to cope with the situation.

Why is Bahrain’s driving so bad?! Is anything being done to make it better? Why do so many people break the rules? Why do they honk and flash their lights if you’re not moving fast enough for them, why do they like to jump lanes so much?!

And most of all, why don’t they wear their seatbelt when they know it will save their lives?
