Luxury cruise ship MS Europa 2 made its maiden voyage to Bahrain as it sailed local waters from Doha as part of its eight-day Gulf itenary.

The ship was docked for about 15 hours as officials from APM Terminals, operators of Khalifa Bin Salman Port and other officials welcomed the vessel at the port.

During a ceremony on board the ship, Captain Friedrich Ian Akkermann was presented a plaque by Captain Adel Maskati, of APM Terminals, to mark the vessel’s maiden visit to Bahrain. The cruise ship will spend a day in Oman before it returns to Dubai.
