Housing Ministry Undersecretary Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa today inspected several flood-hit areas in the aftermath of the three-day downpour which hit Bahrain.

He visited Wadi Al-Seel and Salmabad residential areas, blocs 810 and 815 in Isa Town, Jidhafs, Busaiteen and East Muharraq and supervised the rainwater-clean-up operations.

The undersecretary paid a visit to flood-hit housing units and directed concerned officials to study the affected cases. He was also reassured about the safety of the water insulation systems in the affected areas.

Meanwhile, the Housing Ministry announced that it would receive complaints lodged by owners of the newly-built housing units –which are still under warranty – whether through the maintenance bureau in Hamad Town or on Hotline 80008001.
