Bahrain Autumn fair attracts Thousands.




MANAMA: Thousands flocked to the opening of one of the country’s largest consumer exhibitions yesterday.

The 25th Autumn Fair was inaugurated by Industry and Commerce Minister Dr Hassan Fakhro at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

He underlined the importance of trade fairs in reviving the commercial sector and promoting price competition. “It also motivates businesses to provide better and various high quality consumer goods at competitive prices,” he said.

The fair will run until January 29 and features 750 exhibitors from 21 countries, including more than 120 Bahraini companies.

It is open from 10am until 1pm and 4pm until 10pm today, tomorrow and from Saturday to Monday.

On Friday it will be open from noon to 10pm, while on January 28 and 29 it will be open between 10am and 10pm.

Special women-only mornings will be held on Sunday and Monday. Tickets cost 700 fils, with entry free for children under five.
