2 Asians held for using forged credit cards

Director-General of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security Lt-Colonel Bassam Al Miraj announced yesterday that two Asians had been arrested on the charges of using bogus credit cards for shopping.

He said that the department had received a number of cases of payments through forged credit cards. Investigation launched and the suspects were identified and arrested after obtaining a warrant from the Public Prosecution.  A total of 97 forged credit cards and two card forging devices were confiscated. He said that the case was referred to the Public Prosecution after finalizing legal procedures.
